News has it that Kansas City based-chocolatier Christopher Elbow has been included in Food & Wine’s top 10 chocolates in the US. And his hot chocolate made a second “best of” list in the magazine. Damn right he made these lists. His chocolate is unbelievable. Its beautiful. Its delicious. Its so worth every penny.
I think I may have mentioned before that I like to give his chocolates as gifts. I also like to receive them as gifts. Brad Pitt has been known to bring me a tiny box of chocolates on occassion. And on one unsuspecting evening, he filled a leftover box with Hershey’s Kisses and tricked me.
Not cool, Brad Pitt. Not cool at all.
The fact that ‘chocolate’ was mentioned so many times in one sitting has actually put me into a chocolate coma and i’ve yet to devour a piece.
LOL! After I wrote that I ate two pieces of chocolate. Ghirardelli, not Elbow, because that was all I had on hand. Funny because I didn’t think anything of it until I read your comment. I must have had a subliminal kick in the ass to eat chocolate. You better go get some, too.
Already on top of it! Once I left my computer after reading your post I grabbed a snickers and a three musketeers (mini, of course).
Nice!

Artsy chocolate. so delightfully geometric I wouldn’t want to eat them!
Thanks for the re-blog! And yes, these chocolates are so incredibly beautiful it makes it hard to eat them. But they are equally delicious so it makes up for it. 🙂
