My Mom was totally out of line today. And by “totally out of line” I mean she totally was not acting her age. I had to explain how the world works. See Exhibit A.

She wrote back saying “I told your Seeester this morning that 60 is the new 40. Boomers don’t get old.”
Oy vey. Before you know it, she’ll be wearing mid-riffs and super-short shorts with Kardashian hair and sunglasses and hollering Hey Bitches while picking up her vitamins and blood pressure medicine from the pharmacy.

Since I am exactly 21 three times over, I thought I might peruse Forever 21’s website this afternoon to find a couple outfits to wear when we visit Katie and BP in a few months. Wish me luck, because although my mind is forever 21, my body is more, ummmmm, advanced. This will be a challenge.
